🪔 Havan – Sacred Fire Ritual at SWAN
About Havan
Havan is an age-old sacred ritual. Fire, or Agni, symbolises the presence of the divine and acts as a medium for transformation — both material and spiritual.
At SWAN, Havan is a meditative and experiential practice. Through mantra, offering and awareness, one learns to let go.
Everything that no longer serves you can be offered into the fire — a process of inner purification and clarity. The lit fire symbolises the presence of the divine, and so this sacred fire is a medium for the attainment of various wishes and boons in the materialistic as well as the spiritual world. We do havan to dispel the negative energies from our mind and to destroy negative life patterns; everything you want to let go of, offer it to the fire.
🕉 Weekly Havan and Kirtan
Time: 19:00 – 20:00 Hrs
Every Saturday and Sunday evening, we gather for Havan along with Kirtan.
Kirtan is spiritual singing — simple chants sung together, creating a sense of connection and preparing the mind for meditation.
- Saturday: Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (healing & rejuvenation)
- Sunday: Gayatri Mantra (clarity & guidance)
Guests are welcome to join, observe, or simply sit in the presence of the fire.

Closing Note
At SWAN, these practices are not performances, but part of a living yogic tradition — where mantra, fire and awareness come together naturally.
You are welcome to experience this sacred space.
Om tryambakam yajāmahe sugandhim puṣṭi-vardhanam
urvārukam-iva bandhanān mṛtyormukṣīya māmṛitāt
This mantra is healing, and beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health. It is a moksha mantra, bestowing rejuvenation and immortality. On Sundays we chant the Gayatri mantra, for the Mother.
Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, tát savitúr váreṇ(i)yaṃ bhárgo devásya dhīmahi, dhíyo yó naḥ prachodáyāt
This mantra is for purification and spiritual guidance. You are welcome to join us at SWAN to experience the sacred fire of Havan every Saturday and Sunday at 6.30 pm
