A traditional Yoga retreat centre working on the principles of an ashram.
Founded by Yoga teachers with decades of experience across different schools and traditions, SWAN is a traditional Yoga retreat in Goa, India, where Yoga is practised as a complete way of life.
Our teachers live and work on the campus, creating an environment inspired by the traditional Gurukula system, where knowledge is shared through practice, study, daily living and direct interaction with the teacher.
At SWAN, Yoga goes beyond physical practice. Our approach brings together traditional Hatha Yoga, asana, pranayama, meditation, Yoga Nidra, mantra, self-inquiry and Tantra, allowing students to experience Yoga in its totality, as it was taught.
Located in the quiet village of Assagao, North Goa, SWAN offers an authentic and immersive setting for those seeking a Yoga retreat in India, a Yoga retreat in Goa, or a deeper exploration of meditation, traditional Yoga and the wider spiritual traditions of Yoga and Tantra.

The 300 hour course is open to beginners too; a 200 hour qualification is needed only to register with Yoga Alliance as RYT 500.
